"Yoga isn't just for the young, the spiritually attuned, or the athletically adept. Yoga is for everyone! When I started practicing I was in my 20's and it's flowing, calming sequences were just what a new harried and unsure teacher needed at week's end. Since then, I've done Yoga on and off over the years and in my late 40's and 50's I returned to this wonderful form of exercise. Yoga challenges you yet takes you from where you are to where your body is willing to go. Yoga works on strength, balance and flexibility which are all very important requirements to age "gracefully..." which I am hoping to do. For some, the spiritual aspect hits a resonant cord within yet it's not necessary to profit from the many benefits of Yoga. I love it... it keeps me limber, centered and happy!"
